Job Summary
nEmergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) Springfield, MO
nThis position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a busy urban trauma center with a level one trauma designation. The RN will utilize their skills to deliver comprehensive patient care for all age groups while maintaining professional accountability and ensuring patient safety and confidentiality.
nJob Details
nnRole: RN in Emergency Department.
nLocation: Springfield, MO.
nSchedule: Days shift, , minimum of 36 hours per week.
nCertifications: Current RN License (eligible for licensure in Missouri or licensed in Missouri), BLS, ACLS, PALS from AHA only; TNCC, NIHSS (may be submitted without, but must obtain prior to start).
nRequired Qualifications: RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS from AHA only; 1 year of experience in an Emergency Department in a Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma facility, or 2 years in a Level 2 Trauma facility, all indicated on the resume.
nAdditional Information: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care, maintains professional accountability, and collaborates with healthcare teams. Expected to monitor and coordinate patient care activities, evaluate intervention effectiveness, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality. The environment involves high acuity, trauma, stroke, STEMI, and burn center cases, with a patient load of over 200 patients per day. Must be able to stand, walk, lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs., and work in a clean, air-conditioned setting.
nFloat: Float rotation may be required.
