Job Summary
nEmergency Room (ER) Nurse Location: Not specified. This position involves providing critical care in a fast-paced emergency department environment. The ER nurse will manage patients with a wide range of urgent and trauma-related conditions, ensuring patient safety and quality of care.
nJob Details
nnCertifications: CPI (NCI with Advanced Physical Skills Training course), NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, BLS & ACLS required.
nEducation: Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program, BSN highly desired.
nLicensure: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district.
nExperience: 3 years of emergency room experience required; 0 years of experience minimum.
nSchedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
nResponsibilities include managing critical care skills such as medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusion of blood, and chest tube management. Patients range from urgent care, psychiatric, pediatric, to critical care/trauma cases.
nAdditional Information: The ED is a fast-paced environment that treats a diverse patient population, requiring coordination and delivery of complex nursing care to ensure safety and a positive patient experience.
