Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

nThis position involves providing direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting. The RN will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for a designated group of patients, ensuring safe, effective, and patient-centered treatment during night shifts.
nJob Details
nnSchedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
nRequired Qualifications: Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN); State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License; BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certificationsall through the American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross; minimum 2 years current experience in a large Emergency Department; must successfully pass a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia (BCA) test; float: Float rotation may be required.
nAdditional Responsibilities: Utilize the nursing process to provide direct patient care; administer medication and treatments per physician orders or protocols; coordinate patient care with families and healthcare teams; supervise LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel; complete competency testing, patient documentation, and adherence to protocols and standards of care.
nPreferred Qualifications: Epic experience is preferred but not required and can be provided on-site.
nSubmission Requirements: Candidates must successfully pass a BCA test administered on-site, with re-test opportunity if initially unsuccessful.
