Job Summary
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) Oconto, Wisconsin. This role involves providing high-quality emergency nursing care in a critical access hospital's Emergency Department. The position is full-time, with a 12-hour night shift schedule, supporting community urgent care services and occasional trauma cases.
Job Details
Position: ER RN Emergency Room
Location: Oconto, Wisconsin
Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact license, AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), AHA Pediatric Life Support (PALS); NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred and must be completed prior to end of orientation; minimum 1+ years of experience in a critical access or Level III/IV emergency facility; Epic charting experience within the past 2 years.
Preferred Qualifications: NIHSS certification.
Additional Information: The ER has 7 beds, primarily handling urgent care cases with occasional trauma. The role includes working as part of a team providing 24/7 emergency services, maintaining a safe environment, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The position requires flexibility around holiday rotations and is located outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.
