Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Alexandria, Louisiana.

Job Summary
n- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift (7PM - 7AM)

nEssential Responsibilities:
n- Practice independently in a similar clinical setting, demonstrating full awareness of relevant aspects of patient care.
n- Provide both routine and complex nursing care, focusing on both immediate needs and long-term goals.
n- Manage and cope with contingencies in clinical nursing situations.
n- Appropriately assign tasks and delegate duties to other healthcare providers to manage the clinical environment.
n- Adhere to OneCHRISTUS Competencies (Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders).
n- Deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
n- Address and manage complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
n- Administer medications and treatments according to protocol, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
n- Accurately document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
n- Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers; identify issues and available resources.

nRequired Education and Experience:
n- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
n- Minimum 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
n
nRequired Licenses/Certifications:
n- BLS certification via AHA (required)
n- ACLS certification via AHA (required)
n- PALS certification via AHA (required)
n- TNCC certification (required)
n- De-Escalation certification (required)
n- Current RN license in state of employment or compact (required)
Med Ninjas Job ID #15338. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
