️ Hours: 36 Hours/Week

We're seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide direct and indirect patient care in the emergency department, safely triage patients, prioritize care, monitor patient conditions, and respond quickly to changes in clinical status.
Requirements
Active California RN License
Minimum 3 years of Emergency Room / Emergency Department RN experience
Current AHA BLS Certification
Current AHA ACLS Certification
Current AHA PALS Certification
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Strong emergency assessment, triage, and critical-care skills
Ability to care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
Effective English communication and basic computer skills
? Clinical Experience
Perform comprehensive head-to-toe assessments and patient reassessments
Accurately triage patients and determine priorities of care
Monitor hemodynamic status and interpret cardiac monitoring results
Identify dysrhythmias and respond appropriately
Administer medications and IV therapies safely
Assist physicians with emergency department procedures
Assess and manage patient pain
Provide patient and family education
Document patient histories, assessments, treatments, and responses accurately
Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition
Provide age-appropriate emergency care across the lifespan
Maintain patient safety, infection control, and departmental standards
Participate in performance improvement and ongoing professional development
