We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
n Provide direct patient care and assess the needs of admitted patients in the Emergency Department.
Perform medication administration, including IV medication, according to established protocols.
Document and communicate clinical findings accurately and timely.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
Support the management of admitted patients and assist with patient flow in the ED holding area.
n Qualifications
n Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level 1 Trauma Emergency Department preferred; candidates with 1.5 years may be considered.
Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS, and TNCC.
Travel experience is strongly preferred; however, candidates with 2+ years of Level 1 experience will also be considered.
No local candidates within a 100-mile radius will be accepted.
COVID vaccination is optional but must be reported.
n Work Schedule
nThis position offers shifts of 3x12 hours, primarily during night hours. Weekend and holiday shifts are required, with scheduling flexibility based on staffing needs.
Additional Information
n Guaranteed hours based on contracted agreement (36/48/40 hours per week).
Potential for floating to pediatric emergency departments and adult patient care units as needed.
Open to accommodating a block schedule for travelers.
Current need includes increased admit holds, requiring efficient management of patient assignments.
