Emergency Room Nurse Molokai, HI. This Emergency Room (ER) nursing position involves providing critical 24/7 care for a rural, 15-bed healthcare facility serving the residents and visitors of Molokai Island. The role requires delivering high-quality emergency care in a unique, island setting, supporting the health and well-being of a diverse patient population.
Job Details
Location: Molokai, HI
Position Description: Emergency Room Nurse at a rural hospital with Critical Access designation, providing 24/7 emergency care.
Certifications and Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred. Active, unencumbered Hawaii RN licensure required. Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications are required. NRP and CPI (or its equivalent) are strongly preferred. Must pass an EKG test with 80% or higher during orientation.
Experience: Two or more years of full-time staff emergency nursing experience required. Candidates with acute care/inpatient experience (Medical/Surgical/Telemetry) are highly preferred.
Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: Compliance must be completed no later than 10 days prior to the contract start date. All licenses and certifications must be valid through the duration of the contract. Excellent adaptability is appreciated, as RN may be assigned to alternative nursing roles if needed.
Submission Requirements: A current NURSYS report must be included. All compliance documentation is due at least 10 days before the start date to avoid delays or cancellation.
