WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Patchogue, New York.

As part of WCS Healthcare Partners, you will have the opportunity to work in a 437-bed teaching hospital with a Level II Trauma Center, providing exceptional care to a diverse patient population.Responsibilities Provide high-quality care to patients in the Emergency Department.
Perform triage, assessment, and stabilization of patients.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Epic charting system.
Participate in patient and family education.
Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
Current NY State RN license.
ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
Strong skills in BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, and central line care.
Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
Experience in trauma care, with Level II Trauma Center experience required and Level I preferred.
Proficiency in starting and maintaining IVs and administering IV vasopressors.
