Job Details
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
Valid state license (compact license preferred)
at least 2 years of ER experience
Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)

Additional Information
Shift starts at either 1500 or 1900, based on facility needs
Patient ratio approximately 4:1 during night shift
Experience with charting in Epic electronic health record system
Does not require on-call; ideal for candidates seeking a consistent night schedule
Must be able to work at least 3 of the 5 major holidays; all scheduling requests should be included during submission
No previous employment at a Providence facility as a permanent employee, travel contractor, or per-diem is required, but prior experience is welcome
References: Two recent references covering the last 3 years, including at least 6 months of experience as related to ER nursing
