Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in the greater area. This position involves providing critical emergency care in a high-volume, acute care hospital environment. The role requires adaptable, experienced professionals ready to deliver high-quality patient care on a day shift schedule.
Job Details
Position Description: ER Nurse providing care for diverse patient populations in a 16-bed Emergency Department with a daily census of approximately 120 patients.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS certified; minimum of 2 years of ER experience required.
Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Experience Requirements: At least 2 years of ER nursing experience and familiarity with arterial line management, blood product administration, ventilated patient care, trauma care, stroke protocols, and advanced emergency procedures.
Responsibilities include managing trauma cases, stroke certifications, pediatric and adult emergency care, and various advanced monitoring and procedural skills.
Additional Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system, trauma level I or II experience, and preferred prior community hospital or LTAC experience.
Submission Requirements: Candidates must include two references covering a 1-year period (6 months for CNAs), and responses to prior work at Providence facilities if applicable.
