Job Summary Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Location: Hawaii. This position involves providing critical care in a small, critical access hospital with no separate units, where RN staff cover all areas including emergency, acute, and long-term care. The role requires adaptability and a focus on patient safety, with a schedule of six 12-hour evening shifts per pay period, providing a balanced work-life dynamic.
Job Details
Required Qualifications: Hawaii State licensure (must have or apply upon offer), minimum of 2 years' experience in an Emergency Department, and a valid Hawaii license by the start of the assignment.
Schedule: Evenings, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with every 3rd weekend off.
Additional Information:Must arrive the Thursday before the start date to attend the employee health appointment scheduled for Friday.
RN will provide backup in acute and long-term care areas when no patients are present in the ER.
Will be responsible for passing medications and performing procedures for long-term care and acute patients, when assigned to medication pass.
Facility is not latex-free.
