Job Title: ER RN – Emergency Room Registered Nurse
Facility: Lexington Regional Health Center
Department: Nursing Department
Location: 1201 North Erie Street, Lexington, NE 68850
Contract Length: 13 weeks with possible extension
Tentative Start Date: November 3, 2026
Shift Timing: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Required Experience & Skills:
Minimum recent 2+ years of experience in ER, Med-Surg, and Charge Nurse duties.
Prior travel nursing experience is mandatory.
Must be flexible and capable of working across multiple areas in a critical access facility.
Candidate must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler.
Must be willing to float between:
Emergency Department (ED)
Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg)
Charge Nurse duties
Required Certifications:
BLS – AHA
ACLS – AHA
PALS – AHA or ENPC
TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course
Additional Requirements & Facility Information:
Charting System: Cerner
Scrubs: Navy preferred; any solid color accepted.
Facility Type: Critical access facility with 25 beds.
ER Volume: Approximately 350 patients per month.
Housing: Facility-provided housing is available at an additional cost.
