Shift Information
nThis position requires a commitment to night shifts from 1830 to 0700, working 12-hour shifts with a total of 36 hours per week. There is an opportunity to pick up extra shifts as needed.
Job Description
nWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in the Emergency Department. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in emergency nursing, demonstrating the ability to work effectively as a team player. This role involves providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
n Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Department setting.
Current Washington State nursing license or multi-state license.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
Completion of a 6-hour suicide training program.
Verification of demographics from Nursys.
Knowledge of Meditech is beneficial but not required.
n Additional Requirements
n Must be a proactive team player with a solid understanding of emergency nursing practices.
Must have approved time off (RTO) pre-approved and noted at the end of the contract.
Full availability for scheduling is essential.
Holiday coverage is required.
n Location
nThis position is located near breathtaking Pacific Northwest beaches and the Olympic National Forest.
