Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Columbia, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/15/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type: Travel RN – Emergency Department (ED) | Columbia, Missouri University of Missouri Hospital- Columbia Shift: Days, 6:45 AM–7:15 PM | 3x12 Contract: 13–26 weeks | 36 or 48 hours/week Experience: 2 years required; first-time travelers accepted with Level I trauma experience.
Requirements:
Active MO or Compact license, ACLS, BLS, PALS; CPI preferred. TNCC/ATCN preferred. Department: Level I Trauma, Stroke, STEMI, Adult & Pediatric ED Volume: 200 visits/day | 58 beds Floating: ED and ED Observation; floating is mandatory. Weekend: Every other weekend; 50% of holidays required. RTO: Maximum 10 days; none during first week. Vaccines: COVID-19 and flu required; medical/religious exemptions accepted. Charting: Cerner preferred. Local Policy: Within 50 miles not eligible; 51–74 miles receive local rates. Compliance: Email, phone, SSN, DOB, and required documents; clearance deadline Wednesday before start. Modules: 4–6 hours, non-billable. Extension Policy: Maximum 9 consecutive months, followed by a mandatory 6-month break.
