nCommon Diagnoses: Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, MI, Cardiac Arrest, Respiratory Failurenn
nBed Count: 64 beds (2 Triage, 40 Acute, 6 Super Track, 2 Trauma, 10 CDU, 6 Psych)nn
nSpecialty Equipment Used: Rapid Infusor, Arctic Sunnn
nMedications/Drips Administered:
nPressors: Levophed, Neo, Epi, Vasopressin, Dobutamine, Dopamine
nVasodilators: Cleviprex, Cardene, NTG
nAnti-arrhythmics: Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lidocaine
nSedatives: Precedex, Propofol, Fentanyl
nOthers: TNK, Heparin, Insulinnn
nDuties & Expectations:
nProvide care to all assigned patients
nFloat to other units as required
nCharge nurse capability highly preferrednn
nEMR: EPIC experience requirednn
nTravel Experience: Required; must be documented in resumenn
nMinimum Experience: 2+ years in Emergency Department, including pediatric experiencenn
nCertifications Required:
nAHA ACLS
nBLS
nPALS
nNIHSS
nTNCCnn
nLicense: Active NY RN License (verified via NURSYS)nn
nLocation Requirement: Must live at least 75 miles from the facility (locals considered at lower rate)
Med Ninjas Job ID #16890. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
