Job Requirements
n Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensen
At least 1 year of recent emergency department nursing experience required; preferred background includes 1.5+ years in Level I or II ED settings or 2+ years in Level III/IV ED settingsn
Current and unexpired BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certificationsn
Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips and identify heart blocksn
Successful completion of a telemetry assessment on day onen
Experience with Epic preferredn
Previous travel nurse experience and critical care experience are a plusn
Must be flexible to float to related emergency care areas as neededn
Responsibilities
n Provide high-quality nursing care in a busy emergency department with a wide variety of patient needsn
Assess, monitor, and treat patients in a fast-moving acute care environmentn
Work collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support safe, efficient patient caren
Manage care for patients with varying acuity levels while maintaining strong clinical judgment and patient safetyn
Float to additional emergency care areas when required, including behavioral health and pediatric emergency settings for appropriate patient populationsn
Maintain accuracy, professionalism, and adaptability throughout the travel assignmentn
