Emergency Department RN Requirements
n Active Massachusetts RN license at time of submissionn
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experiencen
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certificationsn
Epic EHR experience requiredn
Ability to independently read cardiac strips without monitor tech supportn
Willingness to complete onboarding and orientation testing requirementsn
Open to floating to a nearby affiliated hospital as neededn
Emergency Room Registered Nurse Responsibilities
n Provide safe, high-quality patient care in a busy Emergency Departmentn
Assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs in a rapid-paced emergency care environmentn
Administer treatments and support emergency interventions based on patient conditionn
Monitor patient status closely and respond quickly to changes in acuityn
Interpret cardiac rhythms and support timely clinical decision-makingn
Document nursing care accurately in Epic and maintain strong clinical communicationn
Partner with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to promote efficient patient flown
