Job Summary
nThe organization is seeking an Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) for a temporary assignment in an acute care setting. This role involves providing specialized emergency care to patients within a busy hospital environment on night shifts, with a focus on delivering quality patient care in accordance with established clinical protocols and standards.

nRequired Qualifications: Valid NY license, or proof of application with applied date; 1 year minimum of ER experience; AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), NIHSS, and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)TNCC must be active or proof of class prior to start in packet; NIHSS will be required prior to starting; Epic EMR experience from within the past 2 years; Prior travel experience preferred; Charge experience is preferred.
nAdditional Information:nnPrior travel experience preferred
nCharge nurse experience is preferred
n1 year minimum of ER experience required
nMust possess or be in the process of obtaining NY license; licensing takes 6-8 weeks
nAll employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
nComplete work history including bed count, EMR, facility type, etc., is required for submission
nAll work should be within an environment with reliable transportation; personal or rental vehicle recommended during winter months
nNo block schedules, flexible to meet unit and patient needs
nBi-weekly orientations on Mondays
nIVS will offer assignment
nSchedule includes working any day from Monday to Sunday
