Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Emergency Room team in an acute-care setting. The ideal candidate should have strong emergency nursing experience, excellent clinical judgment, and the ability to respond effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Unit: Emergency Room (ER)
Care Setting: Acute Care
Shift: Night Shift
Shift Time: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Shift Length: 12 hours
Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours/week
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (EOW)
Orientation: 6 hours
Required Qualifications
Minimum Experience: 3 years of Emergency Room/ED nursing experience
Active RN License: Required; license accepted for submission
BSN: Not required
BLS Certification: Required
ACLS: Required
PALS: Required
TNCC: Required
Strong emergency nursing assessment and prioritization skills
Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting to the Emergency Room.
Perform rapid assessments and prioritize care according to patient acuity.
Monitor patients closely and recognize changes in clinical condition.
Administer medications and treatments safely and efficiently.
Assist with emergency procedures and interventions.
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Provide timely documentation and maintain accurate patient records.
Deliver safe, compassionate, and patient-centered emergency care.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced ER/ED RN with 3+ years of emergency nursing experience who is confident managing a wide range of acute and emergent conditions. Strong communication, critical thinking, teamwork, and the ability to remain effective in a fast-paced environment are essential.
