Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Madison, WI. This position involves providing crucial emergency care to adult and pediatric patients in a fast-paced, Level IV Trauma Center and Acute Stroke Ready Center. The role requires excellent clinical skills and the ability to quickly stabilize and treat a wide range of urgent medical conditions.
Job Details:
Position Description: Evening/Nights, 12-hour shifts, 1500 - 0330 and 1900 - 0730, includes weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications: WI RN or Compact RN license, two years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last three years, Epic experience, BLS, PALS, ACLS - AHA only, TNCC.
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 48 hours per week.
Additional Information: The Emergency Department sees approximately 45,000 patients annually, providing comprehensive emergency care. It operates as a designated Level IV Trauma Center, including specialized care for strokes and pediatric emergencies. The department features 40 exam rooms with the capability to expand during high demand, and coordinates with ground ambulance and medflight services for critically ill and injured patients. Travelers must pass telemetry testing prior to clearance.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, RN license.
