Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Kingwood, TX This role involves providing acute emergency care in a 28-bed ER department. The position requires delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes during peak periods.
Job Details
Position Description: Rapid response start within 5-7 days from offer, with a six-week assignment.
Certifications: TNCC, PALS, ACLS, BLS must be included in submission packet.
Location: Emergency Department at a healthcare organization in Kingwood, TX.
Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week.
Required Qualifications:
Certifications in TNCC, PALS, ACLS, BLS; valid Texas licensure; 0 years of experience required.
Patient Ratios: 4:1 on the unit.
Unit Details: 28 beds, staffed by 10 RNs during day shifts, with 2-3 technicians and 1 unit secretary.
Procedures Performed: IV start, blood draws, resuscitation, EKG, among others.
Personality Fit: Active and personable candidates preferred.
Additional Information: Work four weekend shifts per month; no on-call responsibilities.
