Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Department

Job description

Role: Emergency Department RN (ER Travel Nurse) responsible for providing urgent care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include: evaluating and triaging patients, performing minor medical procedures, providing bedside care, wound management, IV therapy, and monitoring patient well-being. RNs will document medical histories, check allergies, and advise patients and families on health concerns. Additional duties involve maintaining supplies and equipment, and reporting suspected abuse.

Qualifications and Skills: 1-2 years recent acute care experience, ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and cope with stress. Certifications required include ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH, with additional certifications possible. Must have strong interpersonal skills to relate to diverse patient populations.

Key Duties: Provide basic bedside care, wound care, IV therapy, and ensure proper functioning of medical supplies. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and adapt quickly is essential.
