Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Monroe, WA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,347 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 10/26/2026 Travel Nurse Source is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Monroe, Washington, 98272!Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC or PALS, TNCC Must-Have: Charge experience preferred Description: Charge experience preferred. Float across emergency department and inpatient units as needed. Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, ENPC or PALS, TNCC. Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience. The unit has 2 trauma rooms and 11 exam rooms, 4 of which are fast track. Experience in Level 3 trauma or higher is preferred. Triage experience with ESI level 5 is required. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4. The electronic medical record system is Care View. A charge nurse, who is an RN, will take one patient. Nurse aides are available 24/7, with an additional aide added during peak hours. Weekend requirements are every 2 to 3 weeks. Holiday shifts are rotated among staff. Scrubs are provided. Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips. Ventilator management is required before transport to ICU. One emergency physician is available 24/7, with a PA staffing beginning at 2 PM. A hospitalist is present until 5 PM. There is no IV team on site. Respiratory therapy is available 24/7. Pharmacy services are available during designated hours, with on-call pharmacists for after-hours needs. Floating is normally not required. Floor-specific orientation is provided over 2 to 3 shifts. Common diagnoses and patient types include a standard emergency room population, with occasional cases involving psychiatric patients or deliveries. Cancellation policy allows for 3 shifts per 13-week contract or 2 shifts per 12 weeks or less. Charting is done using the Cerner system. A BSN is not required for this position.
