Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (11:00 AM – 11:00 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
Operate and monitor equipment including IV pumps, cardiac monitors, ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, and portable EKG machines
Perform procedures including IV placement, blood draws, NIH stroke scale assessments, moderate sedation, TNK administration, and cardiac monitoring
Utilize Meditech EMR for accurate and timely documentation
Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, paramedics, and LVNs across day shift operations
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Current PALS certification
Current TNCC certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification
Demonstrated compassion and empathy in a fast-paced emergency care environment
Strong team-player mentality with ability to adapt to a busy, collaborative unit
