Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a 10-bed emergency department setting
Deliver nursing care consistent with Level 4 trauma center protocols and standards
Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with emergent and non-emergent conditions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams within a critical access hospital environment
Respond to on-call obligations as required by departmental scheduling needs
Required Qualifications
Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current BLS certification required
Current ACLS certification required
Experience working in an emergency room or acute care setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in a critical access hospital or rural healthcare setting
Familiarity with trauma care protocols at a Level 4 trauma center
Ability to function independently in a lower-volume, high-acuity environment
