Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (RN-ED)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Mid Shift (15:00–03:30) | Every other weekend | Every other holiday
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical presentation
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans
Monitor and document patient status, interventions, and responses to treatment
Adhere to facility protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan or a compact state license
Current BLS certification required
Current ACLS certification required
Ability to work mid shifts (15:00–03:30), every other weekend, and every other holiday
Preferred Experience / Skills
Previous Emergency Department nursing experience strongly preferred
Experience with triage and high-acuity patient populations
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
