Job Summary
Endoscopy Laboratory (Endoscopy Lab) in Fort Myers, Florida, is seeking qualified registered nurses for a travel assignment. These professionals will support inpatient endoscopy procedures, with a focus on advanced endoscopy techniques. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details
Location: Fort Myers, Florida
Schedule: 06/29/2026; Days shift, 12 hours per shift, Monday through Friday, plus on-call requirements. Call on holidays may be necessary, with response within 30 minutes of the facility.
Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse (RN) license, with a minimum of 2 years of endoscopy experience. Inpatient endoscopy experience is mandatory; advanced endoscopy experience such as endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD), radiofrequency ablation (RFA), cryoablation, per-oral endoscopic myotomy (POEM), and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) is preferred. Epic electronic medical records (EMR) experience is required. Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are necessary. Degree accreditation must be on the profile or candidates must possess five years of relevant experience. Candidates must meet the geographic requirement of being within 50 miles of the permanent address.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience.
Additional Information: Floating is required, with travelers being the first to float and possibly assigned to other sister campuses. All requests for time off (RTO) must be included at submission; approvals will not be granted post-submission. Demographic details including address, email, full date of birth, full social security number, and RN license number must be uploaded with the application. The culture at the facility emphasizes teamwork and integration into the unit; travelers are expected to function as core staff. A hard document deadline is Monday prior to start date, with no exceptions for pending documentation.
