Job Summary
nTelemetry Medical Surgical Float RN Lake Havasu City, AZ. This position involves providing patient care within a community hospital setting that is Joint Commission Accredited, with a focus on adult and geriatric populations. The role requires adaptability to floating across units, including telemetry and medical-surgical care, ensuring quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
nJob Details
nnPosition Description: RN in Medical Surgical Telemetry role, located in Lake Havasu City, AZ. The unit supports adult and geriatric patient populations, handling complex medical conditions such as ACS, CHF, CKD, alcohol withdrawal, SIRS, and GIB. The unit is equipped with Baxter IV pumps, Posey alarms, Omnicel medication cabinets, and Zoll defibrillators.
nRequired Qualifications: Valid RN license, ACLS certification, at least 2 years of recent acute care experience, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in telemetry or medical-surgical nursing.
nSchedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, including four weekend shifts over a 4-week period. Float to other hospital units (IMC, ED) may be required, with experience handling multiple patient ratios.
nAdditional Information: Candidates should demonstrate compassion, a positive attitude, and a flexible, can-do approach. Preceptor and charge nurse experience is a plus.
nStart and End Dates: Position available from October 5, 2026, through January 3, 2027.
nSubmission Requirements: Candidates must meet all qualification criteria and be able to work all holidays as scheduled.
