Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Home Health RN for this 13‑week travel assignment. You’ll have the opportunity to make a positive impact on patients while enjoying competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and the support of a dedicated clinical team.
Required Qualifications
One year of recent experience as a Registered Nurse, with at least six months in a Home Health setting
Proficient in OASIS documentation
Valid RN license in state compliance
BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
Home Health Nursing Certification (RN‑BC)
Other certifications and licenses may be required
Essential Work Functions
Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans based on medical needs and physician directives
Administer medications, treatments, and wound care while monitoring patient responses
Provide patient and caregiver education on medication management, disease progression, and self‑care techniques
Monitor for changes in patient status, reporting concerns and adjusting care plans as needed
Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
Document patient care, interventions, and progress accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards
Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and home care best practices to protect patients and caregivers
Support families and caregivers, offering guidance and emotional support throughout the care process
Maintain communication with case managers and interdisciplinary teams to provide coordinated patient care
Complete charting and documentation requirements while meeting visit and productivity goals
Adhere to infection control, safety, and healthcare regulations
Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice
Required Essential Skills
Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication skills
English language reading, writing, and communication proficiency
Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions and proficiency in PC skills
Physical Abilities: maintain a stationary position, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend
Interpersonal Skills: work effectively with a variety of personnel, maintain a positive attitude and professionalism
Technical/Motor Skills: fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures or using equipment
Mental Requirements: cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work independently with occasional supervision, sustain concentration to detail
Sensory: visual acuity and effective communication
