Concentric Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Jefferson, Louisiana.

Schedule / Job TypeContract Days 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM)
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting with a patient ratio of 1:5 or 1:6
Perform and manage special procedures including TPN administration, wound care, drain management, Foley catheter care, and narcotic administration
Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient recovery and treatment plans
Be prepared to serve on an emergency response or relief team in the event of a declared emergency, as directed by unit management
Required QualificationsActive Compact or Louisiana RN license - must be in hand at time of submittal
ACLS and BLS certifications required (AHA certifications specifically required)
Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
Proficiency with Epic EMR required
NURSYS report must be submitted with profile and must be current (within 4 weeks of submission date)
Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility (based on address on driver's license) to be eligible - local travelers are not accepted
Preferred Experience / SkillsLTAC experience is not required - first-time travelers to this setting are welcome to apply
Block scheduling may be considered
Familiarity with high-acuity patient populations and complex care needs
