Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse in a healthcare facility. This position involves providing specialized critical care to adult and geriatric patients within a dynamic ICU setting. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care while adhering to clinical protocols and safety standards.

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
Education/Experience: 0 years of experience required; 2 years preferred.
Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid license in the state or jurisdiction of practice, certification in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and travel experience preferred.
Additional Information: Experience with accessing/managing ports, arterial line care, chest tube management, ventilator management, and interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs) preferred. Ability to assist with procedures such as chest tube insertion/removal, PICC line management, and procedural sedation are advantageous. Orientation includes 24 hours of onsite training.
Responsibilities: Managing multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, CVA/Stroke management, infection prevention, and patient monitoring using advanced equipment and clinical skills.
Submission Requirements: Current state or compact license, on-time RTO listing, prior staff wait period of 1 year before returning as a traveler, and completion of onboarding modules within 48 hours of contract signing.
