Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Asheboro, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/19/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary The organization is seeking a qualified Intensive Care Unit (ICU) healthcare professional for a full-time position. This role involves providing critical care in a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities including managing complex patient needs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring exceptional patient outcomes. Job Details Position: ICU Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week Start Date: 10/19/2026 End Date: 01/23/2027 Required Qualifications: Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and 3 years of experience Additional Responsibilities: May include working on-call shifts of 12 hours, floating to the emergency room, and working during major holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years, as well as every other weekend if needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Meditech electronic health record system, on-call experience, and ability to work both days and holidays as specified. Float: Float rotation may be required.
