Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Location: unspecified. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in the ICU. The position requires delivering high-quality care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards, utilizing specialized knowledge, judgment, and skills to meet the physical and developmental needs of critically ill patients.
Job Details
Position Description: This position assesses patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs. Reviews patient history, physical assessments, diagnostics, and laboratory data to inform care plans. Formulates and implements individualized plans of care, including discharge planning, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. Provides direct patient care, delegates tasks appropriately, and supervises nursing staff. Evaluates patient responses to care and updates care plans accordingly. Documents all assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely. Participates in research activities, quality improvement, and staff education.
Required Qualifications:
Current, valid RN license in the state of practice, or valid temporary/interim RN license, or compact RN licensure; BLS certification; 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months in the specialty area; experience in the clinical area for which the candidate is applying.
Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: Must float between Boswell and Del Webb campuses as needed; primary campus Boswell. No religious exemptions for COVID vaccination at this facility.
