Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Medical (ICU MEDICAL) registered nurse position in a high-acuity, 26-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit with a focus on critical patient care. The role involves providing specialized nursing support during night shifts, with responsibilities including hemodynamic monitoring, airway management, and moderate sedation. The position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment within a large trauma facility, supporting a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
Job Details:
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as a registered nurse, minimum of 1-year current acute care ICU RN hospital experience, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale).
Preferred Qualifications: Prior Meditech experience, experience traveling to large trauma facilities, proficiency in Sono (Ultrasound), IV (Intravenous therapy), and CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy).
Additional Information: Candidates should demonstrate strong teamwork, adaptability, and a positive attitude. Knowledge of unit policies and procedures, including hemodynamic monitoring and airway management, is essential.
