Job description
Role:
ICU Travel Nurse (RN)
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit, evaluate and monitor critically ill patients, administer medications, interpret diagnostic tests, manage medical equipment, and communicate patient conditions to families. Support physician-directed care, document treatments, and assist with patient education.
Qualifications & Skills:
1-2 years recent acute care experience, ACLS, BLS, NIH, TNCC certifications (additional certifications may be required). Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and work with potentially hazardous materials or infectious diseases.
Key Duties:
Deliver bedside care, manage medications, oversee diagnostic procedures, interpret lab and electronic data, ensure equipment functionality, and support patient families.
This role offers a 12-hour night shift, 48 hours per week, with a focus on delivering high-quality ICU care in a fast-paced environment.
