TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Athens, Tennessee, 37303!

Registered Nurse – ICU (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in an ICU/Critical Care setting serving adult and geriatric populations (no pediatrics)
Manage patients presenting with diagnoses including DKA, CVA, chest pain, post-surgical recovery, electrolyte imbalances, overdose, and psychiatric conditions (SI)
Operate and monitor equipment including ventilators, BiPAPs, drips, and glucometers
Maintain patient ratios of 2–3:1 in a 5-bed unit (expanding to 10 beds)
Document accurately using the Medhost EHR system
Complete Tennessee Abuse Registry check prior to assignment start date — results required before start
Required Qualifications
Active RN licensure valid in the State of Tennessee
ACLS certification required prior to start
BLS certification required prior to start
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHS) certification required prior to start
Minimum 2 years of ICU/Critical Care experience
Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible as a travel candidate
Preferred Experience / Skills
Strong critical care background with experience managing complex, critically ill patients
Proficiency with ventilator management, vasoactive drips, and BiPAP therapy
Experience with Medhost or comparable EHR platforms
Collaborative team player who thrives in a close-knit unit environment
