Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every other weekend required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting during night shift hours
Monitor and manage ventilated patients, ensuring appropriate respiratory support and documentation
Administer and titrate vasoactive drips in accordance with physician orders and unit protocols
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans for critically ill patients
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses using the facility EMR system
Required Qualifications
Active Alabama RN license or active Multistate (Compact) RN license in good standing (no prior NURSYS hits)
Minimum of 2 years of ICU RN experience
Current ACLS certification
Current BLS certification
Experience managing ventilated patients and vasoactive drip therapy
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a travel placement
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience working with Cerner electronic medical records (EMR)
Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU or critical care environment
