Job Summary
IMCU (Intermediate Care Unit) Registered Nurse Location unspecified. This position involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical procedures in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. The role includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, providing health education and counseling, and executing therapeutic and treatment plans to support patient well-being.
Job Details
Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Current RN license in the state of practice, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS certification, at least 1 year of experience
Required Skills & Experience: Health data assessment, health teaching, health counseling, therapy and treatment planning, nursing care, medical function execution, patient referral, treatment plan monitoring, clinical documentation, resource utilization, registered nurse experience
Preferred Skills & Experience: Previous experience as a registered nurse is preferred
Education: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN required); Bachelor's degree of Nursing preferred
Additional Information: May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency; may be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
