Job Summary
IMCU (Intermediate Care Unit) Nurse in Baltimore, Maryland. This role involves providing specialized nursing care for patients in a telemetry environment with an emphasis on pre- and post-surgical care. The position requires a focus on dysrhythmia management and continuous vital sign monitoring within an acute inpatient setting.
Job Details
Current RN License; 2 years current nursing experience; dysrhythmia management; BLS. Preferred EPIC experience; 1-2 travel assignments pre and post-bedside surgical care on the unit.
Specialty: Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU).
Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities include providing bedside surgical care and managing adult inpatient acute and telemetry patients with continuous vital sign monitoring.
Orientation dates are on the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month.
Previous employment with any Johns Hopkins health system facilities must be noted in the work history; applicants must be gone for at least one full year before applying as travelers.
