Job Summary:
nThe healthcare provider is seeking an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) registered nurse (RN) in a night shift position. This role involves caring for a diverse patient population, including medical-surgical, tele, cardiac intensive care, neuro, and cerebrovascular accident patients. The RN will participate in orientation sessions held every other Monday and will be responsible for charge duties, requiring prior experience. The position offers an opportunity for flexibility with contracts up to 20 weeks and requires working at least one major holiday.
nJob Details:
nnSchedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
nRequired Qualifications: Active VA or Compact license, 2 years of RN experience, ability to perform charge responsibilities, Cerner experience preferred, orientation dates on 10/5, 10/19, and 11/2, prior travel experience required for all Centra positions, experience with med-surg, tele, cardiac IMCU, neuro, and C.V.A patients, orientation sessions every other Monday, and must work at least one major holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years).
nPreferred Qualifications: Prior charge nurse experience, Cerner proficiency, ability to work in a teaching environment with students and new hires.
nAdditional Information: Employment includes working with students and new hires frequently, with participation in a supportive culture.
