Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN Intermediate Care for a travel nursing job in Utica, New York.

nPosition: IMCU/PCU Registered Nursenn
nLocation: Local candidates accepted (within 75 miles)nn
nExperience Required:
nMinimum 2 years of recent IMCU/PCU experience
nDocumented travel nursing experience preferrednn
nCertifications Required:
nActive NY RN License (license verification required)
nAll other RN licenses (if applicable)
nCurrent AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSSnn
nShift: 6:30 pm – 7:00 am (nights)
nBlock scheduling not guaranteednn
nEMR Experience: Must have EPIC experiencenn
nFloating: Required as needednn
nUnit Details:
nCommon diagnoses: Neuro, Cardiac, Trauma, COPD, DKA, Sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, post-op
nPatient age: 18 years and older
nNumber of beds: 64 (including 15 designated neuro beds)nn
nSpecialty Equipment Used:
nTemporary pacers, Chest tubes, Arterial lines, Bipap, Neptune, Vapo
nChronic vents (unable to wean) with RT assistancenn
nP atient Demographics: Adult patients (18+ years)nn
nOther Requirements: Must be willing to float to other units as needed
Med Ninjas Job ID #16707. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
