Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Projected Start: August 24, 2026
Key Responsibilities
Provide nursing care for medically complex and surgically delicate patients including those with respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multi-system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, complex traumas, and surgical complications
Manage an average patient load of 3 high-acuity patients within a Progressive Critical Care setting
Administer and titrate advanced drips including antihypertensives, sedatives, Narcan, and thrombolytics per unit protocols, including pressor management
Monitor and manage advanced hemodynamic parameters including arterial lines (A-line), CVP, and EVD
Operate and manage respiratory support modalities including HFNC, BiPAP/CPAP, and oxygen-dependent equipment
Adhere to infection prevention protocols and manage orthopedic traction as applicable
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in New York State
Minimum 2 years of experience in a PCU, IMC, or Stepdown setting
Epic EMR experience required
ACLS certification required
Competency assessment must be completed within 24 hours of submission (sent to candidate's email)
Navy blue scrubs required
Must not reside in an ineligible local county — local candidates are not being accepted for this position
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience in a large-scale adult PCU environment
Background in a community hospital ICU setting
Familiarity with EVD management and orthopedic traction care
