Travel RN – Stepdown / PCU (IMC/Stepdown Staffing Pool)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a stepdown / progressive care unit (PCU/IMC) setting
Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level cardiac and telemetry monitoring
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
Document patient assessments, care delivered, and clinical outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
Active RN licensure in North Carolina or a compact state license accepted for practice in NC
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in a stepdown, PCU, or IMC setting
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a high-acuity acute care environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior travel nursing experience in a stepdown or progressive care unit
Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
Familiarity with Epic or similar electronic health record systems
