Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting, managing patients with respiratory, renal, and cardiac conditions, as well as alcohol/drug withdrawal and infections
Monitor and assess patient status, implementing appropriate nursing interventions in a step-down/intermediate care environment
Adhere to department guidelines regarding weekend, holiday, and float rotation requirements
Complete all required learning modules prior to and during the assignment
Maintain active ACLS and BLS certifications from an AHA, ARC, or ASHI approved vendor throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
Active Arizona RN license, verified within the last 30 days, with no disciplinary actions or hits on record
Minimum of 24 months of PCU experience, with experience within the last 12 months
Active ACLS certification from an approved vendor (AHA, ARC, or ASHI)
Active BLS certification from an approved vendor (AHA, ARC, or ASHI)
PCU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
Valid driver's license required to verify residency — Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
Flexibility with locations, shifts, and departments to support placement efficiency
