nnPosition: Registered Nurse (RN) with specialty in Interventional Radiology
nLocation: Cape Girardeau, Missouri
nShift: Days, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week minimum
nCertifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS; ARNA certification preferred
nExperience: 1+ years of relevant clinical experience required
nSchedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours minimum per week
nResponsibilities:nnProvide direct patient care in the Interventional Radiology department including monitoring patient conditions and vital signs.
nMaintain intravenous lines for patients receiving fluids and administer medications under physician supervision.
nAssist in various procedures within the imaging unit, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
nDocument patient records accurately and notify appropriate personnel of any adverse changes.
nMaintain emergency equipment and supplies, ensuring proper functionality.
nCoordinate with the patient care team and serve as a liaison between the imaging department and other care divisions.
nFollow hospital policies to ensure high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

nAdditional Information:
nResponsible for maintaining IV skills, emergency equipment, and proper documentation. The role involves interacting with patients of various ages and backgrounds, requiring critical care nursing skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure. The RN will also assist with patient preps and procedures, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
