nScrub Exp IR RN
Job Details:
n• Interventional Radiology position requiring applicable IR experience as an ARRT (VI) technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist
n• An ARRT (R) IR Technologist with scrub experience will also be considered
n• IR RNs with scrub experience will be considered
n• ARRT (VI) certification preferred
n• On-call required with rotating weekend coverage and rotating one evening per week
n• Weekend on-call shifts required
n• Block schedules are not required
n• Position does not float between units
n• 48-hour shifts are not approved
n• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required
n• Compact nursing license must be in hand at time of submission
n• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
n• Charting system experience required; Epic charting system used at facility
n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
n• Required skills: Interventional Radiology, Angioplasty, Carotid Stenting, Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography, Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias, Pressure Ulcer Assessment/Prevention, Sheath Removal/Monitoring, Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose), Radiation and Laser Safety, Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale
n• Scrub color: Any color for RNs
n• No parking fee
Facility:
nThis facility is a Short Term Acute Care hospital operating as both a Level II Trauma Center and a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center. With 629 total staffed beds, it is a large teaching hospital equipped to handle a wide range of complex medical cases. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and provides a dynamic, high-acuity environment supported by interdisciplinary teams across multiple specialties.
