Job Summary
Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Not Specified. This role encompasses providing specialized nursing care in an interventional radiology unit with adult patients aged 14 to 99. The position involves performing procedures in a high-acuity environment with a focus on treatment of conditions such as Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD), Pulmonary Embolism (PE), and cancer, utilizing advanced imaging technology and procedural equipment.
Job Details
Position Description: RTO 5 Max must have a permanent Massachusetts RN license in hand; no holiday RTO allowed. The RN will work in a 4-room interventional radiology unit with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:1. The team operates with an on-call schedule of 1-2 nights per week and every 3-4 weekends.
Required Qualifications: Massachusetts RN license, ACLS, BLS certifications, 2 years of IR experience, minimum of 1 year interventional radiology experience, and experience with Siemens and Philips radiology equipment, EPIC Radiant Documentation, and Philips Monitors.
Schedule: Full-time, 8-hour rotating days and evenings shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. On-call requirements include one to two days per week, one weekend per month, and one holiday during the assignment.
Additional Information: Experience with laser, Angiojet, EKOS, CSI, vaso drips, thrombolytics, and moderate sedation is required. The unit manages common diagnoses such as PAD, PE, and cancer.
