Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel nursing job in Louisville, Kentucky.

Unit Information
Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year
First‑time traveller: Yes
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Neuro, trauma, stroke, inpatient, outpatient
IR Suites: 4 total (2 primarily for neuro, 2 for body; 1 hybrid suite in OR)
Cases per day: 10‑15 currently; goal 15‑20 when fully staffed
Body procedures: central venous access, Sirsphere, nephrostomy, pulmonary embolism, UAE, GI bleed, trauma bleeds
Neuro procedures: diagnostic cerebral, stroke, carotid stent, MMA embolization, AVM/AVF embolization, aneurysm coiling & flow diversion, venous sinus stenting, aneurysm clipping
Required Licenses & Certifications: BLS, ARRT, KY state license; preferred VI certification
Required Skills: ability to move between hybrid room and OR (hybrid open 3 days a week), strong in neuro, comfortable with stroke, embolization & coiling, scrubbing/assisting, circulating, equipment operation, tray setup, level 1 trauma experience
Department Support: Receptionist, Supervisor, Manager
Technology/Equipment: EMR Cerner; IV pump Plum ICU Medical; medication dispensing Omnicell; monitors Phillips; unit‑specific equipment Philips Allura Xper FD20 Biplane, GE Discovery, Siemens Artis Icono Biplane
Floating: No
Orientation: NEO; 2 weeks of unit orientation (depending on experience)
Scheduling: Weekend rotation based on unit needs; on‑call Yes; holiday expectations based on unit needs; approval of RTO via NM approval
Other Notes: Scrub color provided; parking free and badge‑access parking lot
