Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Wilson, North Carolina.

Job Summary:
nLabor and Delivery RN at a healthcare facility located in Wilson, NC. This role involves providing specialized obstetric and gynecological care on the 2nd floor, including labor, delivery, postpartum, and gynecological services. The position requires a team-oriented professional capable of managing patients in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and quality patient care.
nJob Details:
nnSchedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week
nRequired Qualifications: RN (Registered Nurse) license, 2 years of Labor and Delivery (L/D) experience, BLS certification, fetal monitoring class within 2 years, NRP certification, ACLS certification, location within 60 miles of Wilson, NC
nPreferred Qualifications: Circulating in the Operating Room (OR) for L/D surgeries
nFloat: L/D float rotation may be required to sit or perform tasks during low census, postpartum float rotation for low census
nAdditional Information:nnUnit has 6 beds plus 1 triage and recovery room in L/D, with an operating room for cesarean sections.
nPatient ratios follow standards set by the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN), with a maximum of 6:1 for postpartum and typically 3-4:1 for labor patients.
nEquipment used includes GE Centricity and Meditech electronic health record systems.
nThe role is a replacement position, and hospital-supplied scrubs are required in the Labor and Delivery area.
